A museum open to the public since 1918 with the only scope to preserve the history, the culture, and the tradition of The Netherlands from the changes due to the industrial progress. A progress started in the 19th century and still ongoing.

First Saturday after November, 11th. Today arrive Sinterklaas from Spain. He has sailed the river Wall to dock at Waalkade, with his wite-grey horse and Zwarte Piet. Together go through the town of Nijmegen to visit all the little boys and girls of the city. To give them greetings and ginger biscuits.  (more…)

Harold “Doc” Edgerton – A mix of Photography and Science

Harol “Doc” Edgerton was a professor of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He had been able to mix interest for photography and engineering science, through curiosity and willingness to discover, creating something really special and amazing master pieces of photographic art. And his work, in my opinion, is still today a wonderful example of this fusion.
